WASHINGTON, Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Tier10 was named a winner in the 37th Annual Telly Awards. As a first time entrant, Tier10 received a Silver Telly Award for its “2014 Agency Reel” and a Bronze Telly Award for its “Aston Martin Racing” video.
The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring the finest film and video productions, web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs.
Tier10’s “2014 Agency Reel” received a Silver Telly Award in the ‘Promotional Branding’ category. The video gives viewers a quick look back at some of the fun Tier10 had in 2014 creating campaigns for clients, and a look behind-the-scenes of how it is done. The video includes shots from the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, Detroit’s Packard Plant, the Be Legendary: Mariano Rivera campaign, 2015 Portland Auto Show and locations including Chicago, Cleveland, and New York.
Tier10’s second entry, “Aston Martin Racing,” received a Bronze Telly Award in the ‘Documentary’ category. In March 2015, Tier10’s video team traveled to St. Petersburg, FL and obtained full access to film the TRG-Aston Martin Racing team during the Pirelli World Challenge. In less than three minutes, they managed to capture the thrill of racing and the uniquely determined spirit of GT racecar driver Christina Nielsen.
The Silver Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work – entries do not compete against each other – rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Less than 10% of entries are chosen as winners of the Silver Telly, our highest honor with about 25% chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.
Adding to Tier10’s momentum, the agency also won three 2016 AVA Digital Awards: two Platinum Awards for “Life Is Better: Honda HR-V” and “Movie Night”, and a Gold Award for “New Kid on the Block” in the commercial category for car dealerships.
