Tier10 received three 2016 AVA Digital Awards for its outstanding creative in video production. As a first time entrant, Tier10 received two Platinum Awards for “New Kid on the Block” and “Movie Night,” and a Gold Award for “Life Is Better: Honda HR-V” in the commercial category for car dealerships.
As the new addition to the Honda family, “New Kid on the Block” showcases the all-new 2016 Honda Civic while highlighting Honda’s family-friendly brand.
With dealers dispersed throughout New York City, “Movie Night” was created to connect the dealers and locations of the New York Acura Dealers Association. Playing off of trending popup events – a craze akin to New York City – a group of friends make their way across the city in the 2016 Acura lineup to stage their own ‘exclusive’ popup theater with Manhattan as the backdrop.
The “Life Is Better” campaign series was developed to connect Honda owners and local businesses that share the same core beliefs and values of the Honda owner. The HR-V spot, created for the Northern Ohio Honda Dealers, taps into the passionate Cleveland Browns fan base, describing the HR-V as the “perfect game day chariot” while on the way to FirstEnergy Stadium, the team’s home field. The spot was also featured on AutoNews.com for its creative use of the NFL as a promotional tool at the regional level.
The 2016 AVA Digital Awards received 2,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 17 other countries. Fourteen percent of the entries won Platinum Awards, the top award and approximately nineteen percent received Gold Awards.
Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the AVA Digital Award was designed to “pay tribute to the magnificent history of the audio-visual and web industries” and recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication.
